There is some debate within homeopathy as to the ‘best way’ to prescribe. Some practitioners only ever give one remedy at a time. This is referred to as classical prescribing. Others will put several remedies into the same bottle, which is known as combination prescribing. Basically I try to skip all the dogma and do what is best for my patients. Some people will only need one remedy at a time. Others will need several. It really does depend on the individual.
Where applicable I give nutritional or lifestyle advice if I think it is going to improve overall health. I sometimes use herbal tinctures alongside the homeopathy for support or drainage purposes and will be sure to explain what I am giving and why.
